I’m Vicky.

Dogs are my passion and my world.

Me, Graham & my family

1982– My first 4 legged friend - an Old English Sheepdog – Penny

1998 – Me & Graham bought our first Weimaraner puppy – Henry, who ruled our house for about 5 years until I met Jan Fennell – The Dog Listener

2002 – Introducing Henry to Jan Fennel – The Dog Listener, and we slowly started to relieve Henry of his leadership position, so that he could relax and enjoy life without feeling the need to protect us all the time.

2003 - As my dog listening skills grew we rescued a 4 year old Weimaraner called Ted. I soon became know as the “Dog Lady” within our neighbourhood and even at work.

2013 – Henry & Ted passed away within 6 months of each other, but then we rescued a 6 year old Weimraner called Rufus and our first German Shorthaired Pointer Red who was 9 years old at the time.

2017 – My Dad got Tim a Cockerpoo puppy as his companion

2003 - 2019 – After a successful career as a Senior Manager within the Luxury Brand sector within the Motor Industry, I decided to take some time out from work and to think about my next chapter. My family & friends encouraged me to do “something” with dogs, as they knew that this would enrich my life further as well as the dogs that I interacted with.

With my Dad, sister & friends having Cockerpoos, and we’d had many discussions about there being a demand for good dog groomers, so I started to research this as a potential business opportunity

2019 - I met Lee Hollingworth & Martin Mawson from Furst Class Lounge who gave me a taster as a dog groomer within their fabulous grooming salon, and straight away I knew this was my next chapter
